Andrew Rich Marine Sedimentary Pinot Noir 2016

  • This NY wine journalist-turned-winemaker studied in Burgundy and found his way to Oregon as one of the first to produce Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley.  This wine is named after the soil profile of the region: marine sediments layered over the ocean floor. “Highly perfumed dark berry, cherry preserve and floral scents are sharpened by a hint of peppery spices and a zesty mineral quality.” - Vinious
